“Hey, I’m no saint!” we say.
Then the Bible uses the word “saints” 57 times to describe followers of Jesus. This week in our series A Place to Belong, we wrestle with how we could be called saints when so much in our lives does not reflect Jesus. Why would God call us saints, and what does that mean about the way we live our lives this week? You can read in 1 John 1:9 and Ephesians 5:26 to prepare for this week’s teaching. Let’s learn to love the local church which, apparently, is full of saints!
