Why is faith such a big deal?
The Bible says that without faith it’s impossible to please God, and that miracles cannot happen when we have no faith. This week in our final Advent message, we read in Luke 1:26-38 about how an angel appears to Mary. She feels confused. She feels unworthy. God is calling her to something beyond her ability to accomplish. Mary finds faith while the glory of an angelic being shines on her, and I hope we will, too, on this Christmas Eve morning.
