The rocky island of Mont Saint-Michel is one of the most picturesque and visited sights in France. It holds a fortified medieval city with walls strong enough to stop an army. These walls defied enemies in the Hundred Years’ War, and even inspired young Joan of Arc to battle. Yet the heart of this island fortress is a place of worship—a 1000-year-old abbey and church where people have sought God for centuries. Pastor Gayleen takes us through Psalm 27 to travel through the fortress into the heart of the abbey where we find confidence and peace in the presence of God.
