Jesus: The One and Only— What is Truth? John 18 — March 17, 2024

Sometimes I (Pastor Theo) use an ancient practice of Bible reading to imagine myself as part of the story being told. This week we are reading in John 18, and I wonder which character would be most like you? Is it Peter, who says he will die for Jesus but then betrays Him? Is it Judas, who is upset that Jesus isn’t following his advice, so he makes a rash decision that leads to Jesus’ death? Is it Pilate, who is so confused by all the claims to truth that he says, “What IS truth?” This week in our series on The One and Only Jesus we look at these responses and ask if we recognize the true Jesus.
