Sometimes I wish God would just show up big and loud and obvious—to silence the doubters, expose the pretenders, and expose those who teach what is evil.
This week in our Songs of the Summer teaching series, we will hear a prayer from Psalm 42 and 43 that expresses this type of longing. The struggle of faith is on full display here, and we will be inspired by the psalmist’s example of praying when we long for God to “show up and show out.”
