This week we talk about a Bible story that has spoken to me my whole life. In the life of Samson, I recognize my own temptations and have compassion for his mistakes. This hero who fought so fiercely against the enemies of God’s people also was drawn to immoral sexual partners who betrayed him. By abandoning who God had made him to be, he ended up broken and ineffective. This week we learn from Samson’s negative example that thriving as our true self means following God’s ways!
