Our summer of stories is coming to an end this Sunday, so join us as we look at the last book of the Bible for our final story. In Revelation 4 and 5 we are transported to heaven and see an unforgettable scene. An angel tells John (the one who Jesus loves!) that John will see what is to come for those who follow Jesus. God writes all of these future events in a scroll, but the scroll is sealed with seven seals. Who can open the scroll and reveal the future? No angel, no person, no spiritual power is worthy to take the scroll from God.
We finish our Stories that Speak series with a tale set in heaven, where the Lion and the Lamb will do what no one else could—rescue a people for God and close the book on this broken world!
