What is the difference between a good shepherd and a bad shepherd? How are their flocks treated? Are the sheep fed and sheltered, or are they starved and left for wild animals to devour?
As we continue our journey through Ezekiel this weekend, we will see pictures of two kinds of shepherds in chapter 34. After God chastises the leaders who were supposed to care for His people tenderly, we are given a picture of God Himself as the Good Shepherd, the One who rescues, feeds, and strengthens His fragile, beloved children.
