This Sunday we take a fresh look at freedom. It’s an annual recognition we call Freedom Sunday. It’s more than a day. It’s a movement of hope and healing, centered on Jesus. On Sunday, we will acknowledge the tragedy of human trafficking within the appropriate context of worship. We will focus on the creator Jesus, our Champion of liberation. We pray that the Spirit will lead us into hopeful responses. We will sing, pray, reflect, proclaim, lament, and celebrate. There is no room for despair! Worship can be a catalyst for joy, hope, and action.
